OUR STORY
From the Beginning
At Nightingales Nursery, we’re proud to provide a caring and safe environment for your children. By following our mission, vision and values, we create a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming learn​ing environment for all children. The best start.
We provide our students with the tools they need for future happiness and success. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational theories, always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning. Get in touch to learn more!
OUR ACTIVITIES
Learning Through Play

The learning and play at Nightingales is centred around the children's stages of development and has the children's choices at it's core whenever possible. We have monthly topics to keep the children curious whilst allowing them to constantly learn about the world whilst playing.
We serve a 5-star menu of homecooked meals for lunch and tea, with a selection of fruit served twice daily. Children booked in between 7.30-8.30am are served Weetabix and toast to start their day.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
We have four multi-functional outdoor spaces that give us the flexibility of taking nearly all of our learning and play outdoors, in all weathers. We are also fabulously located next to a large park and within walking distance of Penarth Pier, Cardiff Bay Barrage and central to all the local amenities which allows us to take our children on regular visits and outings.

We also enjoy a daily walk around Belle Vue Park, often taking nature activities and circle time with us.
BABY UNIT TO PRE-SCHOOL
We have a thriving Baby Unit inclusive of babies from 12 weeks old until 2 years old. At the turn of their 2nd Birthday, children move to Pre-School where the learning is led by a a team of experienced and highly qualified Nursery Nurses.
OUTDOOR PLAY
Whenever possible we take our learning through play outdoors in our multi-functional gardens. We find the children feel more free to explore activities in this environment. Our gardens offer climbing trees, a cottage, construction area, mud kitchen and much more!
WHO WE ARE
At Nightingales Nursery, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Nursery School offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, our children reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease. We provide wrap-around care from 7.30am to 6.30pm and provide a pick-up and drop-off service to all local Primary Schools. Contact us today to give your little one 'The Best Start"
